FAQs

  • How do I care for my quilt?

Quilts can be washed at a low temperature on a gentle cycle using a gentle laundry detergent, such as one for wool or for baby items. I recommend placing a few colour catchers in with the wash to help prevent any dyes from running. The gentlest method of drying your quilt is to hang it to dry. If needed, quilts can be steamed or ironed on a medium heat.

  • How do I display my quilt?

The quilts can function as blankets or wallhangings (and more, I suppose!). There are different methods for hanging quilts, including using a hanging rod that slips through a sleeve at the back of the quilt. Unless specified, these quilts do not come with a hanging sleeve. If you would like one added, please get in touch before or immediately after placing your order.

  • Do you accept returns?

I hope for each quilt to find a forever home with whoever acquires the work, but I understand that sometimes things don’t work out. If there is an issue with your textile piece, I ask that you please notify me as soon as possible upon receipt. Returned items will only be accepted if they are in unused and original condition and sent back in their original packaging within 14 days of the client receiving the item(s). Items sent after this window are not eligible for a refund. Once I have accessed the returned item to ensure it is in its original condition, a refund will be issued. The cost of the return is at the expense of the customer and must be fully insured to protect both parties in case of loss in transit. I cannot take responsibility for lost returns that have not been properly insured and tracked.

  • Do you ship worldwide?

Yes. Buyers outside of the UK are responsible for any tariff and customs fees that may apply.

  • Do you take commissions?

At this time, I am not taking commissions.
